Allows recorded race video and or line scan images to be compressed by removing lengthy unwanted dead space when no athletes are finishing. Press to start the recording process and hold to "retain frames" to the hard drive.
Release to dump unwanted "dead" frames. Press again to retain frames for each finishing athlete. Ideal for distance events and easy heads up operation.
Works when timing in either video or line scan mode.
